TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR BOOKING SERVICES

These terms and conditions of sale (“Terms and Conditions”) must be accepted and agreed by every Client (“Client”) of Lomé Beauty Studio LLC. By making a booking with us, all Clients are deemed to have read and understood these Terms and Conditions.

Definitions

“Services” shall refer to any hands-on treatment rendered by Esthetician, Jocelyne Gilead, including but not limited to facial treatments and lashes and brows treatments.

“Products” shall refer to any tangible merchandise offered by us (Lome Beauty Studio) for sale, including but not limited to facial, skin, lashes, brows and body-related products.

Client Representations

Client represents and warrants to Lomé Beauty Studio that:

  • Client is over the age of eighteen (18) and has the power and authority to enter into and perform Client’s obligations under this Agreement.

  • All information provided by Client to Company is truthful, accurate and complete.

  • Client is the authorized signatory of the credit or charge card provided to the Company to pay for Products and Services.

  • Client shall comply with all Terms and Conditions.

  • Client has provided and will provide accurate and complete registration information, including, without limitation, Client’s legal name, address and telephone number.

Warranties and Service Guarantees

Services: Given that the efficacy of our lash and brow treatments and facial treatments may vary depending on the individual, including one’s physical/or and mental state of health, we are not able to guarantee any desired results or outcomes from our treatments.

Products: We provide a two-week defect-free guarantee for all products. We will replace the defective product with an identical product if it is proved to be defective, provided that the defective product is returned to us within two (2) weeks from the date of purchase, together with the relevant receipt. Where we are unable to replace the defective product with an identical product, we will refund the amount paid by the Client in full within two (2) weeks from the date the defective product is returned.

Health, Allergies or Pregnancy Considerations

The treatments and services provided by us are intended only for general wellness purposes and are not intended to substitute professional medical treatment for any condition, medical or otherwise, that Clients may have. Clients with any existing medical conditions are advised to consult their doctors before seeking or receiving any treatments or services from us.

You are required to disclose in your booking request if you have any health conditions, limitations, allergies, physical ailments and/or if you are pregnant, and you will notify our esthetician immediately of any discomfort experienced during your treatment.

You agree to fully indemnify and hold harmless Lomé Beauty Studio its affiliates, subsidiaries, representatives, agents, employees and contractors, from and against all liabilities, claims, expenses, damages and losses, including legal fees (on an indemnity basis), arising out of or in connection with the products and services provided to you.

Payment Methods

We accept the following methods of payment for our products and services:

  • Cash

  • Credit card/Debit cards (Visa)

An electronic receipt acknowledging payment will be issued within three (3) working days from request.

Deposit

It is our policy to collect a non-refundable deposit of fifty dollars ($50) per booking treatment amount before the confirmation of any appointment (in the case of non-package bookings). The deposit will be applied toward the final payment due from you depending on the services you opt for and/or the products you decide to purchase.

Pre-Appointment Cancellations and Rescheduling

Lomé Beauty Studio maintains a strict cancellation policy in order to provide the best possible experience to all of our guests. If you need to cancel or reschedule any treatment, you must provide advance notice of at least 24 hours prior to the original date and time of the reserved service.

  • If you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours you will be considered a No-Show and you will be charged a $25 cancellation fee ($15 for package treatments) in addition to losing the non-refundable $50 deposit that was charged to the credit card you used to make your booking reservation.

Cancellation by Lomé Beauty Studio

Very occasionally, Lomé Beauty Studio may have to cancel your booking. Lomé Beauty Studio will let you know as soon as possible and offer you an alternative accommodation of the same standard, or higher, or offer a full refund. We regret we cannot pay compensation or any reimbursement of any expenses or costs you may incur as a result of any such cancellation or change.

Refunds on Services (“Treatments”)

For single treatments:
As it is our policy to confirm the treatment(s) and price(s) upon the receipt of the deposit and 24 hours prior to the commencement of treatment, we strictly do not entertain any requests for exchanges or refunds once treatment has begun.

For prepaid package treatments:
We may entertain requests to exchange prepaid packages in our sole discretion. In the event that the existing package is to be changed to another of a higher value, you will be required to pay the price difference. We do not provide any refunds for the exchanging of an existing package to another of a lower value. If the prepaid package has been partially used, the value of the existing package will be determined by deducting the regular ala carte price of the service(s) already consumed.

We provide a one-week cooling period from the date of purchase for our Clients to seek full refund of payment should they wish to cancel their prepaid package treatments, subject to the following conditions:-

  • If the prepaid package is wholly unused, a full refund will be issued within thirty (30) days.

  • If the prepaid package is partially used, a partial refund will be issued within thirty (30) days after deducting the regular ala carte price of the service(s) already consumed.

  • We do not provide any refunds after the expiry of the one-week cooling period.

Returns and Refunds on Tangible Products

We have a 14-day return policy on tangible products purchased online or in the studio, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

*Circumstances that we do NOT offer a refund or replacement

  • We do NOT give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong selection.

  • We do NOT offer refunds when the shipment was sent back to us due to failure from the recipients.

  • We do NOT offer refunds on products that are in a used condition.

  • We do NOT offer refunds on products if you are not getting the results you are expecting.

  • we do NOT offer refunds on parcels that have been marked authority to leave, with signature release.

  • we do NOT offer refunds on parcels that have been declared a successful delivery through any delivery service investigation.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on used/opened items, sale items or gift cards. 

Exchanges: The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds: We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time (3-10 business days) for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
If your parcel has been deemed lost on return confirmation of this from the courier will need to be provided in order to release the refund.

Transfers

We may entertain requests for the transfer of prepaid package treatments (or any unused balance thereof) in our sole discretion, subject to the provision of full and accurate information in relation to the proposed transferee.

Transparency and Accuracy of Pricing

All prices for our products and services are net prices and will be clearly communicated to our Clients. Additional charges such as add-ons or other services will be clearly reflected as separate and distinct from the prices of the main service(s). The validity of promotional prices and discounts will be clearly communicated to our Clients.

We are committed to ensuring that all prices quoted at the time of booking are honored, even if later adjusted for inflation and other costs.

No “Special” Services

We are a professional organization and strictly do not condone the provision of sexual services, whether propositioned by our estheticians or our Clients. We ask that all Clients respect the dignity of our estheticians. Any illicit requests or behavior will be reported to the appropriate authorities.

Data Security

We will procure your consent prior to any use of your personal information for any marketing purposes.

Force Majeure

Lomé Beauty Studio cannot accept responsibility or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of the Services is prevented or affected by reason of circumstances which amount to “force majeure”. Circumstances amounting to “force majeure” include any event which we could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such circumstances include government mandated shutdowns, destruction or damage of any part of the Lomé Beauty Studio premises through fire, flood, explosion, storm or other weather damage, break-in, criminal damage, riots or civil strife, industrial action, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, war or threat of war, actual or threatened terrorist activity, pandemic, epidemic and all similar situations beyond our control.

Entire Agreement

The Terms and Conditions constitute the sole and entire agreement between you and Lomé Beauty Studio regarding Lome Beauty Studio’s Acuity Scheduling online booking platform for Services and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, both written and oral, regarding the Acuity Scheduling booking platform.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

We keep the Terms and Conditions under regular review, and reserve the right to revise these Terms and Conditions at any time in our sole discretion without any prior notice.

The date these Terms and Conditions were last revised is set out below. You will be deemed to have consented to and be bound by any amendment to these Terms and Conditions when you purchase our products or engage our services on and from the effective date of the last revision.
